45 people, including peasants and ex-combatants from Tuluá, Cali, Miranda, Dagua, Seville and Jamundí, participated in the Markets and marketing workshop - "Producer and consumer Powers to discover" . The workshop is part of a strategy to connect producers supported by the Alternative Rural Schools to regional markets in the departments of Valle del Cauca and Cauca.
The participants were trained to strengthen the sales and marketing skills of the products they are currently producing. During the day, the participants visited the facilities of the Supply Center of Valle del Cauca SA (CAVASA) . They attended conferences and talked with merchants about the functioning of markets, consumer solidarity circles and best practices for product marketing.
This workshop was possible thanks to the alliance between PASO Colombia, CAVASA , the “Prospera” program of the Cali Chamber of Commerce , and the Agromún web portal.
