Baidoa Electric Company (BECO) is the largest electricity provider in Baidoa, Somalia. The company was formed in 2012 after the merger of five smaller electricity companies, each operating independently in various neighborhoods of Baidoa.

BECO has made remarkable strides in job creation, economic growth, and sustainable energy solutions, thanks to support from One Earth Future's Shuraako program.

Now, Baidoa Electric Company has around 13,000 total customers spread across seven neighborhoods and supplies power to both household consumers and businesses.
