Daldhis Furniture and Aluminum Factory

Founded in 1995, Daldhis Furniture and Aluminum Factory (“Daldhis”) is a renowned provider of both aluminum and wood furniture, as well as a welding and carpentry service provider. Its main clients include construction companies and individuals building their homes.

Daldhis participated in the Oxfam-funded Work in Progress! Program, a one-year training program that provides management training to small and medium enterprises to support business growth and job creation for women and youth. Leveraging the growing real estate industry in Somaliland and the shortage of cement bricks, the company secured a Shuraako-facilitated investment to expand its product offerings. The investment allowed Daldhis to increase its production of aluminum furniture and fittings by purchasing aluminum material and to enter the cement bricks manufacturing market with the acquisition of a brick-making machine and two trucks.
