Dhidar Construction and Contract Company

Founded in 1994, Dhidar Construction and Contract Company (“Dhidar”) is a privately owned construction supply company based in Borama, Somaliland. Dhidar is a supplier of both ready-mixed cement and aggregate. The company initially produced the supply of aggregate with a single manual brick-making machine and has since grown to include a fully automatic crusher and four semiautomatic brick-making machines.

To keep up with the growing demand for its products, Dhidar needed to procure equipment to expand its facility to house a crusher site. Through a Shuraako-facilitated investment, Dhidar was able to expand the facility and efficiently increase its current production of aggregate and cement blocks.
