Sugan Style

Founded in 2017, Sugan Style (“Sugan”) specializes in the production and sale of premium men’s and women’s clothing. Sugan participated in the Oxfam-funded Work in Progress! Program, a one-year training program that provides management training to small and medium enterprises to support business growth and job creation for women and youth. In developing its business model, Sugan performed a market analysis and identified an opportunity within the clothing industry: women’s and children’s clothes were primarily imported, and those produced locally were made with low-quality fabrics. The company distinguishes its products and services by using premium fabrics and unique designs.

Sugan wanted to continue growing its capacity to capture the current demand for imported clothes from foreign countries such as Dubai, China, and India. Through a Shuraako-brokered investment, Sugan was able to expand its women’s clothing line and add a children’s clothing line, increasing the company’s production capacity.
